Wedding, branding and business photographer based in Trogir, Croatia, working with clients in Switzerland and internationally.
Hi there! I’m Kim Britt, but everyone just calls me Kim.
Aside from being a passionate photographer, I’m also a proud mom to our little daughter, who was born in December 2024 and share my life with her, my wonderful husband and our old adorable dog, Buddy .
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me soaking up nature - whether it’s on long walks, relaxing at the beach or enjoying the warmth of a cozy bonfire in the forest with good snacks and even better company! I’m also a true coffee lover (maybe, I’m a bit obsessed!) and enjoy practicing guitar, moving my body with a workout or binge watch a good show or movie when I need a creative break.
Since becoming a mum, I’ve slowed down in the best way. Life feels more intentional, more present. Most days you’ll find me spending time with my toddler and our dog, somewhere outdoors, enjoying the simple moments. That perspective naturally flows into the way I photograph which is focusing on what is real, not what is perfect.
Where I'm based
Originally from Switzerland, my fiancé and I lived in Croatia from 2022 to 2024 before returning to Switzerland as we prepared to welcome our daughter.
After becoming a mum at the end of 2024, we moved back to Croatia this year. We are now based just a short distance from the historic towns of Split and Trogir, while I continue to photograph weddings and shoots for clients across Switzerland.
My Approach
My approach is calm, observant and unobtrusive. I don’t try to control every moment, I create space for them to unfold.
Most of the people I work with don’t feel completely comfortable being photographed. And that’s completely okay. You don’t need to know how to pose or perform , I guide you in a way that feels natural, so you can simply be present and enjoy the moment.
Clients often tell me how relaxed and natural the experience felt , even if they were nervous at first. That’s exactly what matters most to me: That you feel comfortable, because that feeling of ease is what allows honest and meaningful images to happen.
