What should I/we wear to the photo session?

This is the number one question I get asked from clients after they book a photo shoot. That's why I created a „What to Wear Guide“, which you will receive in form of a PDF file after the booking. You’re always welcome to ask me for feedback though! Clients send me photos of their outfits and I love to help you with this part! 

How does the booking process look like? 

After you contacted me, we will discuss all your wishes and details about the shooting via email, whatsapp and/or a phone call. This depends on the shooting size and on what you personally prefer! You’re very welcome to show/send me example photos, if you have some, so I get a faster idea what you want.

Where do you live/work?

I currently live on the Island Čiovo in Croatia, which is a 5 minutes car ride from the UNESCO old town of Trogir and 15 minutes from Split airport away. However, I work throughout the Split-Dalmatia area. I’m every now and then back in Switzerland and are therefore also available there for certain bookings. Just get in touch!

How will I receive my photos?

All photos are delivered through a download link, where you can download and save the photos in high resolution. I achieve all shootings, so your photos are available even years after they were taken and don’t get lost.

What is your turnaround time?

My normal turn around time is between 5 -7 days. For weddings or at very busy times it can take me max. 14 days. 

Do you give RAW unedited photos?

No! I believe that editing is half of the magic that goes into taking your photos. Without this step, your photos are only halfway done and a huge part of someone’s photography style is done in post-processing! I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed a certain photo, just ask!

How and what do you edit?

Each photo is selected and fine tuned before you receive it. All of the photos will be run through Lightroom where I edit things like colors, light, contrast and the overall look of the photo. If there are any objects that could be distracting, I also run the image through photoshop to remove them. For personal beliefs, I do not photoshop bodies (make you skinnier, buffer, etc.) because you are fabulous just the way you are and I want to celebrate that! However, if it happens that you have a pimple on the photo shoot day or such, I will surely edit that away for you, if you wish so!

How many photos will I receive?

The number of photos delivered is based on the size of the photo shoot. I usually don't have a specific minimum or maximum number of images I deliver (except in certain special offers), but it is mostly somewhere between 40 - 60 per photo session.

My partner doesn't like being in front of the camera. Is that okay?

Actually most couples tell me this before the shoot, and we always end up having so much fun! Don’t worry, it’s part of my job to make you both feel as comfortable as possible. I will always give you guidance and come up with ideas, so together we'll reach the best results!

What do you do if there is bad weather?

We can shoot in almost all weather (yes, even if it’s cloudy and a bit rainy), but should it rain heavily and storm, we can reschedule for a different day, if indoor is no option! I also offer to set two dates in advance, so we could reschedule easier, if necessary! 

Will our pictures be on the internet?

Not without your permission! I’m always happy if you let me publish your photos on my website and/or social media to show other people my recent work, but this never happens when you don’t want that.

Which pay methods do you accept?

I accept cash or bank transfer in advance (only Euros). Shootings in Switzerland can also be paid with TWINT. For bigger projects, I also offer invoices.
